    Default LOL the new patch really killed the akimbo 1887 shotguns

    Me and my brother tested them out in a a private match, they have less then half the one hit kill range that they did before the patch, and beyond 20-25 feet they dont even hit you at all. We tested out the striker which is my shotgun of choice and it has significantly longer range then the 1887's and its a 2 hit kill. So yea there is no reason to use them anymore over the other shotguns, they have to short of range and they take ages to reload.

    they were fun to use the few levels before i prestige but i admit they were way overpowered, glad they got the nerf bat.

    Woo! They were starting to get annoying, especially when you see the same person next game not using them and getting like 5 kills, after getting 20+ whilst using them. Although I had some fun with them in private matches!

    I'm happ they've patched the guns, they were over powered. I think all the shotguns should be near the same range as they're supposed to be close ranged guns. Pump action ones should be slightly more powerful than the -forgot the word for it- bolt action boom boom boom ones.
    Akimbo should just in theory double the damage as there are two, not triple the range.
