You can get an 5in1 USB adaptor which reads memory cards and can be transfered via USB, it reads all sorts of formats like SD cards, Memory stick pro and others. They are very cheap and you can buy online for next to nothing.

2 options.
1) Plug it into your PS3 and see if it recognises your particular 5in1 card reader... It must be formatted as FAT32.
2) Plug it into your computer, transfer the file onto a Flash Drive and then use that with the PS3, this will almost certainly work because 99% of Flash drives are recognised by the PS3.
