Default Gold Bolt Locations + Other Trophy Help

NOT OFFICIAL GAME GUIDE, ONLY GOLD BOLTS.
Below is the link to the official guide (When it is finished)
    http://www.ps3trophies.com/forums/trophy-guides/19268-ratchet-clank-future-crack-time-trophy-guide.html

    QUICK NOTE FOR COLLECTIBLES
Once you progress far enough into the game and have access to the battleship for the tournaments, I suggest doing them. Once you gain access to the 4th quadrant of space, you also gain access to the second tournament, aka the Raritanium Cup. Just like the other tournaments, it has 5 "fights" or challenges. On the 4th challenge, once you complete it, you get the Treasure Mapper. This will make finding everything EASY. It shows what you are missing from what planet/moon by mousing over it, and also once you enter the planet, it even shows you where they are!
    Seriously..do it

    Gold Bolt locations

There are two ways to gain Gold Bolts.

1st: Explore new planets and gain access to them
2nd: After you beat Lord Vorselon, you gain access to fly around in your ship and visit different sectors, it seems each sector has planets, but each planet has X amount of Moons. Each moon has a challenge that will either award a collectible. (Gold Bolts, Zoni's, Constructo Mods, etc)

I will be listing the total for each Quadrant. If you do not have all the Bolts for the Quadrant, but have them all from the planets, than you are missing them from Moons.

    GOLD BOLTS

    GREAT CLOCK
    Total - 8

    Great Clock - Sector 1:

    Gold Bolt#1 - (Chronosceptar)
Once you obtain the staff, in section 2, once you start section 3, head back to section 1. Keep running forward until you reach the room with the giant hologram planet. Jump on top of the canister in front of it and toss a time bomb. You'll get the option to press Triangle to try and restore time to the planet. Just press and hold Circle or R1 and destroy the fissures that show up over the globe. Red > Yellow fissures. Once this is over, a path opens up and has the Gold Bolt.

    Great Clock - Sector 2:

    Gold Bolt #1-
After using the Meteor Pad and jumping across to the next platform, your robot friend will start climbing the platforms, don't follow just yet. Run to the right of the building in front of you for the Gold Bolt.

Gold Blot #2- (Available once you reach Section 3)
This is a Clank challenge (I hope the only one >.>) You need to go back into his memory bank (The same room you obtain your Chronoscepter).

YouTube- Ratchet And Clank Future: A Crack In Time Great Clock - Section 2 - Gold Bolt #2

Video I made on how to do it. Sorry about sound quality

    Great Clock - Sector 3:

    Gold Bolt #1-
Another Clank challenge. Go back into his memory bank and complete it. Alot easier than the other.
YouTube- Ratchet & Clank Future A Crack In Time Great Clock Sector 3 Gold Bolt #1

    Gold Bolt #2-
After the second puzzle, leave the puzzle room. As soon as you step out the door, turn to your right and run into the corner right near the ledge. A platform will appear, and you will see the Bolt. Just fly over to it.

    Great Clock - Sector 4

    Gold Bolt #1-
After the second puzzle room, turn to your right and run near the ledge. Platforms will appear. Just keep flying in a straight line, more will appear. Fix the planet and the door will open to your right with a Bolt on the other side.

Gold Bolt #2- (Re-visit after you beat the game)
Pretty damn hard to miss this one. Jump onto the first rotating platform and you'll see it tucked below another one. Just jump and get it, will teleport you to safety afterwards.

    Gold Bolt #3-
    The last Clank challenge.
YouTube- Ratchet & Clank Future A Crack In Time Great Clock Sector 4 Gold Bolt #3

    1st Quadrant
    Total - 6

    Planet Guantos - Zolar Forest:

    Gold Bolt #1 (Hoverboots) -
First level as Ratchet, once you raise the first bridge for Captain Dumbass, there is a Gold Bolt to your right that you cant access at the beginning of the game. Come back here with Hoverboots.

    Gold Bolt #2 -
Once you progress farther into the level, you will run into a women thing asking to save her children. Save the first, turn around and run to the child that is to your left (according to the ingame map icons). Save that child, and you will notice a brown box up on a ledge. Jump up and behind the box is a hidden path. At the end of the path is the first Gold Bolt you can obtain.

    Gold Bolt #3
Head back onto the main path and up the stairs next to the shop (Buy the new gun!) Look straight ahead of you into the valley, you will see the Bolt. Run up the stairs and drop down to your right to get it.

    Gold Bolt #4
After defending the alien village and collecting the 3rd Zoni, repair your ship BUT DO NOT LEAVE! Run straight past your ship and all the debree will be cleared away, you will see the Gold Bolt lying on the ground.

    2nd Quadrant
    Total - 9

    Axiom City-

    Gold Bolt #1
In the room where you are timed and have to press the buttons or start all over again. As soon as you enter the room you will see a fountain in front of you. Run in the middle of the fountain and jump on the middle, it's actually a spring. You'll get the Bolt.

Gold Bolt#2 (Have to re-visit this level)
Continue into the level and into the base. After you swing across and defeat all the enemies, go through the door. It's sitting on top of the ledge right in front of you, just double jump to get it.

    Molonoth Fields-

    Gold Bolt #1 -
After you finish the Hoverboots training, you are supposed to go forward to your ship...Well, don't do that. Turn around and go up the ramp. You will see a Zoni as you progress. On the next platform, the Zoni is trying to lead you forward, but don't. Instead go to your left where the Compactors are first, and at the end of the conveyor belt is the Gold Bolt.

Gold Bolt #2 - (Have to re-visit later to get)
Enter the level and go down the path about...10 feet. Look to your right. Enjoy!

    Gold Bolt #3 -
Once you enter The Hollow, your first jump will be onto an area that has a spring pad. Well don't use it quite yet, and fall off in front of the spring. Should be by the base of the cliff.

    3rd Quadrant
    Total - 11

    Agorian Battleplex-
These are all mandatory if you wish to Platinum this game. There are two Gold Bolts from here.

    Krell Canyon-

    Gold Bolt #1 -
Once you raise the bridge, jump back up. You will see it on your left. Hoverboot dash and than glide to it.

    Gold Bolt #2 - (Omnisoaker)
Right after you cross the bridge, look through the grated wall. You can see the Bolt. You have to cut the vines on the wall. You have to come back once you obtain the Omnisoaker. Suck up the nectar and shoot it on the vines so the Tetramites eat through them. Collect your shiny

    Gold Bolt #3 -
After you cross the next bridge after the Tetramites, you will come to a stream. Suck up some water with your Omnisoaker and shoot the plant. Use it to get up on the ledge for your shiny Bolt.

    Gold Bolt #4 -
After you kill the first Hydra tank, turn left and go up the hill that has Hoverboot Dash symbols at the top of it. Before the arrows, look to your left, you will see the Bolt sitting on a rock you couldn't reach just by jumping. Hoverboot Dash and glide to it.

    Gold Bolt #5 -
After getting #4, go back on that rock and follow the arrows. Once up top the path will split, stay to the right. You will see #5

    Zanifar - Tombli Outpost

    Gold Bolt #1 -
After you use the Omnisoaker to help the guy, jump on the vine and ride across. Turn the Hoverboot pad to the right arrows to the other side. Use the bumber to jump to the platform behind you, where the Hoverboot kick pads didnt take you. Run to the right and you will see the Bolt

    4th Quadrant
    Total - 5

    Valkyrie Citadel

    Gold Bolt #1 -
After you get the oil for the bolt spinner, get on it and jump onto the hoverboot kick pads. Once you reach the second one, stop. Fall off it and glide onto the rock. You'll notice Swingshot lights. Work your way around and to the top for the Gold Bolt.

    Gold Bolt #2 -
After you get Bolt #1, head back to the bolt spinner and continue. Once you reach the other side, you'll notice more Swingshot lights. Swing across for the Bolt.

Gold Bolt #3 - (May require another visit)
After you beat her 3rd challenge (The one with the battery robots) open the other doors and one of them will have the Bolt.

    5th Quadrant
    Total - 3

    Gimlick Valley-

    Gold Bolt #1 -
Press select and look at your map. It's at the very bottom of the map, the piece of land that has a purple line across it. Just jump up here and you will see it.

Hope this guide helps you towards your platinum. If you need any more help, feel free to let me know.

Wow, I didn't even know they were having a midnight release. I'm on the west side of the U.S., so I've got another two hours and 15 minutes until midnight. However, I'll have to wait until after school tomorrow to pick it up, because there's no way my parents would let me go on such short notice. Try not to ruin anything for us, alright?

There really is no strategy for it other than to shoot stuff and save as many citizens as possible hoping they drop extra lives.

Your best bet is when the tanks start showing up, keep shooting them and purposely let your gun overheat so you can press R1 and do the huge laser beam.

Again, just try your best to avoid things. Took me almost 1 1/2 hours to get it, and I barely managed with 10,080. If enough people are getting stuck, I suppose I can try again and make a video...

Like I said, try doing the tank thing. It makes it alotttt easier once you get farther into it. That way they line up along with the little guys and you can take out 4-5 of them at once with one R1 shot. Just be patient, it's gonna be another one of "those" trophies.

Right now I am stuck on Overkill, the last challenge in the Raritanium cup. Big pain in the ass lol. 20 rounds of enemies with no ammo refills, on top of the War Grok and the Hydra...ya, I can barely get past round 12 since you need to save your ammo for the Grok and Hydra. Sucks, you get 1 health container and that's it. Spawns about 20~ enemies at once, slowly turning from all small robots into very big, red, angry baddies in groups of 7-8

Guide is finished, collect the 40th one just now. I'll clean it up tomorrow, it's getting late. Every Bolt from planets is listed. Everything else is from the tournament and moons. I will post which Quadrants have X amounts (I cant remember every moon that had a Bolt) and the tournaments.

    ----------

    Ah-HA!

Last ??? is a Hidden Gold Trophy

Terraklon Assassin - Vanquish Lord Vorselon.

    ----------

Still can't get The Samaritan cause I guess it involves the Insomniac Museum, cause im pretty sure I did everything else...Hmm...not sure what to do in it lol

Tip for getting 10,000pts in "My blaster runs hot" mini game. Find a friend and play two players. Both your scores stack! took us two tries. Much easier but still no walk in the park.
