Edition one sucked IMO so they're gonna screw up the 2nd too.
RE was awesome in the past but somewhere along the line they lost something. I played RE5 and it's the worst one in the series, 4 was bad aswell but it was playable.

Again, this is all IMO.

EDIT: But seeing as this one is probably again in a creepy house, it just might be a flash to the past. I'll wait for reviews from you guys.

The words in the trailer are in Japanese I think this will be exclusive to Japan, the US won't be gettin it

not to be rude sir....but you are very wrong. the US will in fact be getting this game. it's NOT a Japan exclusinve. the trailer is just the japan trailer.

on topic:
this is a pass for me because this could have been done as dlc and probably been better off. i liked the orginal ok but not enough to go out and basicly buy the game again. it's not a whole new game or nothing like that. it just adds a mission as a "flashback" to play as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine as well as the support for the motion control which could have been done via patch with the orginal.

I hope its going to be a free DLC, even Im pretty sure its not. As long as its possible to buy at PSN. 2-3 Hour gameplay with few trophy could complete the RE5 as a whole game

That's not what the game is. This game is you going through the mansion looking for Spencer. You saw this foreshadowed in Resident Evil 5 when Jill and Wesker go out the window, so you are playing prior to those events and going through this mansion which will be very similar to Resident Evil's original Mansion, though I guarantee it will use the same partner system as 5.

I actually liked the partner system. It had some flaws and could have been done differently, but I was finally happy to be able to play co-op with a friend and slaughter zombies in a decent RE game. If only they would remake 1 with some sweet co-op, then my life would be complete

Well in that video it shows them going back to the mansion. I'm so stoked for this, can't wait.

RE5 was by no means a Resident Evil but it was still a good game.

that's not what the game is really either. it's still RE5 but will have an added 2+ hours of a mission in the mansion. it's not a whole game based on the mansion. that's why there is such a debate as to why they couldn't just do a dlc instead of having to make a whole new disc. but it has now been descovered that it may be possible to make it a dlc for people who already own the orginal game will not be foreced to buy a new disc.
