Holy crap are the clear things at the top the L and R buttons? That's going to be a pain to stretch your hands that far.

Well ironically enough the PSP firmware has been updated. Version 6.00 is up and running, ready for download.
PSP Firmware 6.00 goes live, hints at game rentals
PSP Firmware 6.00 is now available for those adventurous enough to click on Network Update from the XMB. The changelog, copied in full below, may look rather uninspiring at first:
* Games can now be grouped and displayed in folders based on their expire date under [Game].
* Under [Settings], [Network Update] has been changed to [System Update]. Under [System Update], you can now choose how to update the system software.
* The number of colors that can be selected under [Settings] > [Theme Settings] has been increased.
* Revisions to strengthen security have been added. (Internet Browser)
While additional XMB colors will excite few, the mention of "expire dates" for games sounds rather surprising. PSP currently supports time-based licenses for video rentals. However, applying the same rules to games hasn't been done before. Earlier in the year, we discovered plans for a potential games rental service for PSP. Is firmware 6.00 preparing the hardware for a new expansion to the PlayStation Store?

ok, sorry people, but im having techinical faults when editing the thread and adding the info, as shown, you can see that there are two spoilers for some of the update info's, i can't get rid of them, when i try to get rid of them it adds an extra spoiler somewhere else.
-
09-11-2009 #12
Im 95% sure the colours have always been there. I think sony should add more feature to the music on the psp like an equaliser or more visual players. As i keep all my music on my psp and think the visual player is a great addition.

yes more added to music would be good but nowadays i dont use it for musice, games, photos, nothing, my ps3 does all that now
, only reason i kept my PSP is because I sometimes wanna see the latest updates.

The only thing I really want is a way to connect the PSP to the internet via PS3. I can`t connect my PSP to the internet and I`d really like to play some games online.

How about expanding the video feature so that there is no need to convert videos to pop into your PSP? WMV, Qucktime, MPEG, and others should be compatible. That's what I'd like to see.

ok now i finished the thread, ive added in all info but theres one problem, this thread must be cursed or something because It seems to have put in massive gaps between spoilers and headers etc. The spoiler bars are going all dodgy too. Ive tried to fix them but they either just come back within a day or two or it just happens again somewhere else in the thread. If anybody knows why all this is happeneing please tell me as this is really annoying me so much now.
