Introduction:
topatoi: The Great Tree Story is the first episode in a three part puzzle gameplay series. The game features a group of adventurists who crash landed at a strange place and must find help to make their way onward. In the game, the player controls a gyroscopic vehicle equipped with a number of multidimensional abilities. You must use these abilities to navigate through puzzles and over platforms.

Road Map
Start the Story Mode of topatoi: The Great Tree Story and play level by level. Below almost the entire Story mode trophies are based on collecting star treasures throughout the level and I have documented where you will find them. There aren't many to collect and they are pretty easy to spot, but its best to read the locations beforehand so you don't pass them up on accident. However, if you miss a star you are free to restart a level after you have completed it or select it later on, so no trophies are miss-able. Not that two other trophies are tied to the Story mode; fuel tank and berry gatherer. I suggest doing fuel tank on level since it is the easiest because it's the first level after you learn your basic tutorials, just play it through once before going for the trophy so you understand the level layout. The berry gatherer is related to chapter 8 so don't worry about it until then.

After you complete Story mode start playing the Arcade mode since you will not be able to play Arcade mode unless you unlock the levels by beating Single Player levels. Arcade mode takes more skill so you will need to know how to handle the controls well and use your fuel wisely. There are three trophies here and they deal with collecting blocks through the arcade levels.

Trophy Guide
bronze stars
collect all stars on any single level of the great tree

Find the stars spread throughout the levels, once you have collected all in a single level you will receive the trophy. The stars are usually placed in your path, but a few are hidden along secret paths and elevators. The easiest place to collect the stars for this trophy is Level 1 since it has the fewest and they are pretty much placed in your path. Find the star locations for each level in the star guide posted below the trophy guide.

Follow the Star Guide below and you will receive this by Level 3.

gold stars
collect all stars on all levels of the great tree

Follow the Star Guide below and you will receive this by Level 7 which is the last level with stars. You will find the amount of stars you have per level at the main screen when you do a level select.

bronze cubes
collect all cubes on any two bonus levels

Start Arcade mode single player and start playing through. The bonus levels task you with collecting cubes and making it to the end by solving puzzles.

However, a lot of the levels require you to also collect blue blobs of fuel so time isn't always on your side. A few of the levels do not require fuel which allows you to then take your time on them. Just do what each level tells you in the beginning and you should make it to the end with little hassle, I was able to complete all bonus levels in a matter of less than 2 hours while collecting all cubes.

Also keep in mind that if you collect all cubes in a level and you fail to complete it or just exit to the main menu, your game will still count all the cubes as collected. So don't fell to have the need to complete the level if you collected all cubes.

Just keep collecting cubes and make sure to double check around corners. If you miss a cube on while you are on a moving platform, jump off and you should respawn at the last checkpoint and you will have a second chance to grab it

You will get this once you collect all cubes on each bonus level. There are 10 bonuses levels. If you need to see which levels you might not have collected all the cubes on, go to the Arcade mode's chapter select screen and in the lower left hand side it will state how many you collected in each level.

fuel tank
have no less than 1000 fuel points at the end of any level

Once you reach Level 2 your GEMMA vehicle will start to use fuel to drive you around each level. Your GEMMA will lose fuel as you drive and gain fuel as you pick up blue blobs. The large blue blobs are worth 50 fuel points and the small blobs are worth 10 fuel points. You will need to be conscious on how much fuel you have otherwise you will run out and lose the level. In order to finish with 1000 fuel points extra you will need to collect as many blue blobs as possible while limiting your movements throughout the level.

Level 2 will be the best place to get this trophy. Try and collect any big blobs you see to make your fuel points jump up and limit any use of your boost button . Steep slopes can be conquered by pressing to jump up them. You will however need to use the boost button when you are hooked into the Windlass. However, if you are quick and careful you should finish with plenty. Just to a dry run of the level before trying so you see what obstacles are in your way and how to get through them.

You will be quested to bring back 30 berries for the gate to open in Level 7. However, there are a total of 50 berries scattered throughout the paths. Here, accuracy counts so make sure you are lined up and charged when facing long jumps. If you miss a berry during a jump, kill yourself and try again. It may be difficult to keep your fuel at a high level so collect any blue blobs you see. Just keep your eyes open so you don't miss any, but they aren't hidden so it should be easy. When making long jumps, try to line yourself up with the blue blobs since the red berries may seem to be further left or right, but they aren't.

Star Location Guide (45 stars total)

Level 1 - the crash site (4 stars)

1. Located just after the second large slope it will be in your path so you can't miss it.
2. After you jump up the multiple steps, the star will appear just behind a checkpoint.
3. This star will be reachable once you hop onto the blocks that extend out from the wall which are activated by switches. It will be located on the second block.
4. Before moving the movable block for the huge step, the star will be located above the block. Jump on the block to reach the star.

Level 2 – up to the village (6 stars)

1. Just before you hit the set of two Windlasses there is a secret platform that comes up. You activate the secret elevator by pressing the switch in the ground that is located to the right back side of the platform you are on which has a big blob above it. After the jump on the secret elevator you will find the star just past the stairs on your left.
2. After climbing up the big blocks that extended out from the wall you will come to a switch activated gate. Jump up the blocks on the left side to find the star hidden behind some vertical wood panels.
3. Soon you will come to two switches that will fill a hole in the floor and another that spawns a block. Before you use the block to make a jump go to the left side and you will find a hidden pathway that extends pass the platform. Follow it to the end where you will get the star.
4. You will come by a block you must push down a pathway. While pushing the block a wooden bridge will be visible on the left and side. Follow it out to find the star located at the end of it.
5. After you have pushed the block down the platform to the gate you jump over, active the switch to make the gate drop. Push the block further in and use it to jump and grab the star located inside the gated area.
6. When at the top of the two slops you climb there will be a wooden bridge on the left side, follow it into a hidden cave where the star is located.

Level 3 - the pillaged town (7 stars)

1. When you come across the second moving platform after a series of double jumps, drop down from the moving platform and you will find you star below.
2. Just after your encounter with the second enemy, you will come to floating platforms. The second star is on the left platform that is going back and forth. Be careful on the jump!
3. After the floating platforms you will come to a Windlass on a giant lift, activate it and halfway up will be a secret pass way on the left. Follow it to the third star.
4. After you get back on the lift and move up to the top go forward where you come to two floating platforms. One moves up and down while the other moves sideways. Jump onto the one that goes upward to find the next star.
5. After you encounter another enemy you will make your way to a checkpoint. At the left of the checkpoint are a pile of blocks, jump up the blocks to the house where the star will be sitting on top of.
6. When you make it to the second giant lift, power the Windlass a little bit and it will come to a star that is hidden inside a cave in the giant tree. You will need to jump into the hidden part of the tree to get it.
7. When you call the third giant platform with a Windlass you will be moved past three enemies waiting to jump on and knock you off from it. Use the switches on the left to knock them off their platform. The second enemy's platform has a star above it so work fast to try and get to it.

Level 4 - when stones are gold (7 stars)

1. The star will be located in a hidden cave after the first gate you jump over. The star is hidden behind two vertical wooden panels on your right.
2. After the second enemy you encounter there are a few stone blocks that come out from the wall. After you place the wooden block on the switch to make them retract, climb them to find the star on top.
3. Once off the giant lift make your way to the checkpoint, the star is hidden behind some vertical wooden panels on the left side. Know them over and grab the star.
4. After collecting your first stone, the star will spawn along with a bridge on the right side.
5. After defeating two more enemies who get released from the cages you will ride up on an elevator. Up top you will find the star on the highest platform.
6. After you make the long jump and come to an area where three steps need to be moved out from the wall, you will come across the star on the other side just above the switch which will move the steps.
7. After traveling down the giant lift, you will come across a switch will trigger large blocks to come out from the wall. Hurry down them and you will find the star on one of the blocks near the end. Be fast since the blocks will pull back in if you start trailing.

Level 5 - the statue will sing again (7 stars)

1. After you make your way up the steps blocked by gate, grab the wooden ball that is free to pull around. Carefully guide the ball into the wooden panels below the raised platform with the wooden block on top of it. This will trigger a hidden platform that will pop up behind you with the star on it.
2. Long jump across the giant gap and under the movable blocks in the wall. Now climb these movable blocks where you will find the second star on top of.
3. After defeating the group of enemies near the lift in the ground, continue forward down some steps that are kind of hidden. The star will be on the last step.
4. During the Challenge of Agility, you will face a group of stone fists coming out from the wall. The star is on the highest one in the middle of the group.
5. During the Challenge of Strength, just before pushing the second ball there is a switch high on the wall hidden by leaves to your left. Hit it for the hidden platform holding the star to come up on your left.
6. Near the end of Challenge of Strength, you will need to guide a wooden ball down a path blocked by objects you need to push and pull to clear its path. At the end be very careful to not pull the ball too far. You have to options of where to place the ball. Push it back into a gap below the stone platform. This will trigger the gate to open and a hidden platform to pop up behind you with the star on it.
7. By the holy statue near the end, the star will be on the right side.

Level 6 - the dangerous road (7 stars)

1. After you make your way down the stairs and come to the two moving stone fists you will see the star above the second one. Use a block to jump up onto the stone fists.
2. After you pass the stone fists and drop down the ledge, look behind yourself and a star will be locked behind a gate with multiple boxes. Push the boxes so the switch inside triggers the gate to drop.
3. Shortly after you will come to a couple more stone fists that get activated by your power push move. When they activate, jump onto them to the top. The star is on the top stone fist.
4. After you make your way two a group of three stone fists you will need to climb them and power push a box off a switch. This will open a gate near the bottom of the stone fists which holds the star in a small cave.
5. After you pass the moving steps with red writing you will come across some moving fists. The star is hidden under the second moving fist.
6. After completing the puzzle with the stone fists with red writing, pull the ball that has been left over to push it into a gap under a platform behind the sign just before the long wooden bridge. A hidden platform with the star will pop up on the right from underneath.
7. When you are on the giant lifts that slide left and right, the star will be near the end in a cave.

Level 7 - at the gates of the unknown (7 stars)

1. Start on the left path. When you have made it two the switches in the ground which activate the sliding stone fists, keep to the right side of the patch activating ever switch on that side. The star will pop up on a hidden platform once the last switch is hit.
2. After jumping across the large gap after doing the power pull, climb on top of the rising stone fists to find the star up top to the left.
3. Once you have made your way to the top and passed the initial gates to where the floor can be pushed and pulled apart, the star will be hidden under the floor near the far gate.
4. The next stars will now be located on the right path. When you enter, hit the switch that is on the wall by the ball dispenser. A star will pop up from a hidden platform below.
5. After you encounter and defeat you first enemy on this side, go behind the big platform to find a hidden path. Follow it and free the switch underneath the block and panels. This will open a cave that is located above by the next two enemies you encounter which has the star.
6. After you encounter your next group of enemies on the stairs you will find two houses that are placed above blocks on a switch. Drop down in between these houses and the star will be located hidden under this platform.
7. The final star will be located by the lift you take down to get back to the beginning of the level. But instead of hoping on it right away, go to the cave with the star located just in front of the lift.

yeah, I already have this game and liked it alot until I wasn't getting my trophies. Now, I've been snuffed of most of them and know I've gotten them during play, but they aren't registering on the list as getting them. I don't know what's the deal, but I would really like to get these trophies. I will play the game yet again, if I know I will get them, but I've gone thru your guide, done everything accordingly and still haven't gotten them. Please help, if you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate some reply. Thanks!!

My only suggestion is to delete you Save File from your PS3 and restart over if you are not receiving your trophies on the PS3.

I haven't played the add-on yet, Pie, I have downloaded it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I still haven't gotten my trophies from the first one yet, I've deleted it from my Saved Data but it it still isn't giving me them. I am so frustrated about that. I'm sure you will find the star you are missing, just look EVERYWHERE! LOL Good luck, and let us know if you do find it.
