Before you start: I recommend playing through this game 2-3 times to make it easier when going for the difficulty trophies. When you finish a mission it will unlock new planes, and later on upgraded planes for you to you use in missions. On Rookie difficulty you just have to complete the mission to unlock planes. On Pilot and Ace difficulty you also need to complete the bonus objective. The P-61 Black Widow is very useful when you get it.

I must however warn you if you are going for the platinum - the online play is really dead so some of the online trophies will be very hard to get. You need to have a minimum of five players to unlock some of the trophies. I hope we can manage to get together a group on this site to boost those trophies.
If anyone is interested I can make a list in a separate thread.

This is the first mission you go through. It's more of a tutorial. Story-related.



352 FG Rookie
Complete 352 FG campaign on Rookie or higher difficulty

There are 3 missions in this campaign. You need to complete:

1. The butcher's bird
2. Eye of the storm
3. The black heart

You will automatically get this if you start on a higher difficulty.



72 Sqn Rookie
Complete 72 Sqn campaign on Rookie or higher difficulty

There are 5 missions in this campaign. You need to complete:

1. London burning
2. Fighter superiority
3. Firestorm
4. Operation Cerberus
5. Battle of the Bulge

You will automatically get this if you start on a higher difficulty.



79 Sqn Rookie

The hardest mission for most people on this campaign is "Eye of the storm".
Make good use of the warspeed to intercept the bombers faster and take them down.



72 Sqn Ace
Complete 72 Sqn campaign on Ace difficulty

The "Firestorm" mission is pretty hard on this campaign. Use to get to the bombers faster and don't let them get too close to the buildings. If they drop a bomb on their target the mission ends in a failure.



79 Sqn Ace
Complete 79 Sqn campaign on Ace difficulty

This campaign is not that hard, even on Ace difficulty. Use the P-61 Black Widow if you are having trouble.



487 Sqn Ace

Seasoned Ace
Complete all campaigns on Ace difficulty

You will get this when you finish all of the campaigns on the hardest difficulty.



Ace Killer
Ace Kill an enemy

On the first mission, Phoney War, you will gain the ability to ace kill. To perform an ace kill, simply get close to an enemy and lock onto him until it automatically charges. When it has charged enough you have to press to enter Ace Kill mode. Now target the enemy's weak-spots, which will be highlighted in yellow when you move the sight around. Take the shot with and you will earn the trophy.



Fireworks Display
Perform an ammo box Ace Kill

Get into Ace Kill mode and aim at the ammo box. See Ace Killer for additional info.



Air to Air
Destroy an enemy fighter with rockets

Select a plane that is equipped with rockets as a secondary weapon and target an enemy plane. These types of planes will unlock as you progress through the game. If you are having trouble getting this you can replay the first mission "Phoney War" and play until your objective is to shoot down the enemy bomb planes. These planes will fly straightforward for a long period of time and you can easily aim and fire the rockets on them.



Dive! Dive! Dive!
Dive bomb a ground target

These types of planes will be available when you get to the mission "Party crashers". The first objective in the mission is to take out the ground target. Get some altitude and then dive down towards the target and bomb away. The engine will make a screaming sound when you perform this right. You will also get the Bombardier trophy at the same time.



Bombardier
Destroy a ground target with a bomb

Vivisectionist
Take out two engines and a gunner in one Ace Kill

Lock onto an enemy bombplane and enter Ace Kill mode. Target the gunner and if you hit him your ace kill mode will continue. Then aim for the engine on each side of the wings. You can also start this by taking out one of the engines, but you can not take out both of the engines before you hit the gunner.



The Sweetspot
Chain two Ace Kills in the 'Zone'

To get this trophy you need to lock onto an enemy plane and completely fill the Ace Kill gauge meter to enter the "Zone". When you Ace Kill the first plane you can continue ace killing if you have another enemy plane in range.
This is easy if you fly in from the side of an enemy bombplane squadron.



Big Game Hunter
Ace Kill every enemy plane type

Just Ace Kill at least one of each enemy plane type you encounter during the game. The last plane type will be the one when you meet the boss enemy, Johan Sturm.

If you're having trouble finding all the plane types, I can make a list.



On The Edge
Complete a mission with only 25% health remaining

You will probably get this one during normal progression of the game.



Ramming Speed
Destroy three bombers by ramming

Start by damaging a bombplane by shooting at it and then ram into it, destroying it. Do this 3 times.



Energy Attack
Destroy a plane while diving at full speed

Get some altitude and then start diving towards the enemy plane and keep firing until it goes down.



Ace of Spades
Pilot Ace Kill an enemy boss

You will meet several enemy bosses during your progress. Get him in your sights and follow him until you get a chance to Ace Kill him. The first boss is the easiest to get.



Pilot Hunter
Pilot Ace Kill 10 enemies

Get into Ace Kill mode and target the pilot. Do this 10 times.



Sharp Shooter
Complete a mission with 75% accuracy or higher

This can easily be done on the first or second mission. If you're having problems, change the difficulty to "rookie" and make sure you only fire when you are in a good position to hit.



Death from Above
Bomb an airborne enemy plane

Select a bombplane and target an enemy plane. These types of planes will unlock as you progress through the game. If you are having trouble getting this you can replay the first mission "Phoney war" and play until your objective is to shoot down the enemy bomb planes. These planes will fly straightforward for a long period of time and you can easily fly above and drop bombs on them - one or two hits will do the trick.



Cautious
Complete a mission with full health

Do this on the first mission, "Phoney war", because you will not encounter that many enemies. Choose "rookie" difficulty because it will let you regenerate health.



Tank Hunter
Destroy 50 tanks using rockets in Battle of the Bulge

This one is pretty easy. Keep hitting the tanks with your rockets and you will eventually get it. There are more than 50 tanks to target.



Collector
Unlock all plane upgrades

This is one of the harder trophies. You need to complete all of the bonus objectives AND the game on the hardest difficulty.



Super Ace
Score 50 kills in ranked multiplayer games

You can do this in any ranked match. You can boost this with a friend since the servers are pretty empty.



Specialist
Play a full multiplayer round using each type of plane available in a level

There will be a few planes available in every level. Just pick one and crash or get shot down and pick the next. Repeat until you have selected every plane.



Spectator
On the winning team without a kill in multiplayer with 5 or more players

You need to be in either "Team dogfight" or "Team survivor" to get this. Just fly around without killing anyone and hope that your team wins.



Fighter Ace
Come first in a multiplayer game with five or more players flying a fighter

This can be done in any MP match. Pick a fighter type plane and rack up some kills and make sure you come in first place when the match is over. Remember that you need to have at least five or more players to unlock this.



Support Chief
Come first in a multiplayer game with five or more players flying a fighter-bomber

This can be done in any MP match. Pick a fighter-bomber type plane and rack up some kills and make sure you come in first place when the match is over. Remember that you need to have at least five or more players to unlock this.



Red Baron
Shoot down five enemies with a single life in a multiplayer game

This can be done in either ranked or unranked. Very easy if you can boost this with a friend - just shoot him down five times in a row.



Ultimate Ace
Score 250 kills in ranked multiplayer games

You can do this in any ranked match. You can boost this with a friend since the servers are pretty empty.



The Oskar
Use rockets to destroy 5 enemies on a single life in multiplayer with 5 or more players

You need to pick a plane that has rockets as secondary weapons. Easiest way to get this trophy is to create a game and choose "Rocket pack 1" or "2" as plane pack, start the game and unleash on your enemies. This requires some great skills if not boosted.

Remember that you need to have at least 5 or more players.
