100 monsters kills should be your first trophy, maximizing your first skill requires about 24 or 25 levels, unless you do healing magic and it requires about 22 or 23 levels. I got 100 items like right before I temporarily picked up Kara. I got 50 different Equipment right after I permanently received Kara as a party member. Those are all of my trophies currently. I had to start over due to a mis-calculation on my character growth decisions, but all is fixed
you need to have 100,000 gilda on you AT one time, not total. I'd wait to synthesize equipment until you've amassed 10,000,000 gildaand 600 items
beacuse it WILL eat up all your money & materials. The synthezing 450 items
is probably going to be your last for the
Just some tips, when you're leveling up in the story and you're setting skills, forget about the active abilities, go STRAIGHT for the passives, ie. HP Bonus (lv 1 - 5) STR Bonus (lv 1 -5) so on so forth. You should get all of them in about 10 levels (ie. Leonard level 10 - Sword Master Lv 1 - 5, DEX Bonus Lv 1 - 5 AGI Bonus Lv 1 - 3 VIT Bonus Lv 1 - 2 which is 16/50 32%. Pick up Heal before all else, its so easy and helpful and by the time you get to the point of needing Heal II you should be on it. Best strategy I've seen is to go Axe - Longsword - Bow - Spear - Sword - Elemental Magic - Healing Magic. I was level 13 and I had 270 health... Like seriously hahaha
oh and anyone going for this, I'd STRONGLY recommend "beating" the game followed by continuing on with all the other trophies. If you reach max level (if there is one) you should be able to get an S ranking on 50 side quests without any problem at all.

White Knight Chronicles is brought to you by developer Level 5, the creators of Dark Cloud. This game is one of the best RPG's I have played on the PS3, and is an enjoyable experience to anyone who plays it. The storyline is vivid and draws players into the beautiful rendered world. The battle system is completely customizable, and you even get to create your own character to use for the single player and multiplayer modes. You can play with up to 3 friends online with voice chat.
If you have any questions, please feel free to Private Message me.
Overview:
Players: 1-4
Online Play: Yes
Online Trophies: 3
Trophy Difficulty: 7/10 (Time Consuming)
Minimum Playthroughs: 1
Suggested Playthroughs: 2
Time to Platinum/100%: 250+ Hours
Road Map:
1st playthrough
(This times will vary depending on how you choose to play the game and spend your money)
1-4 hours:
Copper Horn Ornament
10-20 hours:
Item Searcher
and
Weapon Collector
25 hours:
Bronze Star
25-40 hours:
Seal Of Pursuer
and
Bronze Medal
45 hours:
Red Embroidered Pouch
and
Silver Horn Ornament
More to come as I get them, I am currently 50 hours in on my second play through
This should take you through your first play through. This is where I stood at the end of my first play through. At the end before you start a new game I would start to synthesize the lower level items and pieces of equipment and also start doing a lot of the side quests. At the end of my first play through I had 200 unique items and 257 unique equipment.
Things to Know
1.) Keep eyes open for harvest locations: Trees that sparkle, broken parts in rock walls that sparkle, If you see a yellow butterfly above flowers or a bush or soil, then that is a harvest location.
2.) The item and equipment trophies are for UNIQUE pieces not just total. Also, you have to synthesize 450 DIFFERENT items not just 450 heal potions.
3.) You can only hold 250 different pieces of equipment but any that are unique that you sold/dismantled or donated will count toward your 500 total.
4) I would keep all items you get because you will eventually have to use them to synthesize items. If you feel you have too many items then donate them to the binding merchants.
5.) you have extra of items that you don't want or need then I would hold on to them and donate them to max your binding receipe levels. This games items and equipment doesn't have much resell value so I would donate them instead of selling them. You will have to do this anyway to get the synthesize trophies.
Side Quests:
I have found that there are 3 strategies that you could use to get an S ranking on your side quests.
1.) Do it with a partner so that you can get the quest done quickly and efficiently. (BEST WAY)
2.) Do it Solo and try to do it as quickly as possible. This will work for some of the lower level quests but probably not for the higher level ones.
3.) Do it Solo but spend the full hour just running around fighting monsters. This is by far the longest way to do it. If you can't get an S doing it solo trying to do it as fast as you can then I have found this works well. You will get 0 points for time but you can easily make up those points by taking most of the time to run around just killing monsters bc they will respawn.
Platinum Crown

A Crown only an adventurer that has mastered everything can possess. Legend has it, that it was once owned by an ancient king.
As you can tell, once you obtain all trophies you will receive the Platinum Trophy. Not only do you get this platinum, but you get a White Knight Costume as a PlayStation home reward!
_______________________________________________________________________________
Item Searcher

A copper ornament, in the shape of a bag. Given to anyone that has collected 100 items.
When you collect items in the game, they will be sent to your Item Storage. Every single item that you get in there can be used for crafting items, upgrading equipment and the like. For every unique item that you have in that bag, it counts towards the count of items you need to reach 100.You will be required to do this for the other item collection trophies as well.
Example:
Vespid Stinger x 3
Mini Earth Pebble x 2
These will count only as 2 items towards your item count for this trophy.
*Note: To get to this trophy as quickly as you can. Whenever you are in a town or go back to a town, buy all of the items that you don't have and keep at least 1 in your item storage. You should get this trophy around the first time you visit Albana.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Weapon Collector

A copper ornament, in the shape of a sword. Given to anyone that has collected 50 pieces of equipment.
This trophy can be obtained by collecting equipment. Equipment that you are not using should be placed in the Equipment Storage bag. As with item collection, you need to collect unique pieces of equipment for this trophy. Luckily, armor comes in pieces of four, so they should be easy to obtain. You will need to use your time wisely and synthesize armor if you want this quickly.
*Note: Just like with the items, whenever you are in a town go to the armory and buy whatever weapons you don't currently have. Keep 1 in your equipment storage. Also, go and buy 1 of each of the rings and glasses and keep 1 in your equipment storage also. This is the quickest way to get to the 50. I received this trophy the first time I went to Albana.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Bronze Star

A medal given to anyone who has successfully mastered one weapon's skill set. A bronze glow is projected from your heart.
You will get this fairly early in the game. All you need to do is max out one Weapon Skill set to obtain the trophy. There are 6 Weapon Skills and two Spell Schools.
Weapon Skills:
Sword (Shortswords, Swords, Cleavers, Maces)
Longsword (Longswords, Katana)
Axe (Axes, Greataxes)
Staff (Staves)
Bow (Bows)
Polearm (Spears)
Magic Schools:
Elemental (Direct Damage, Area of Effect, Debuffs)
Divine (Healing, Status Healers, Buffs)
*Note:* This has to be done on your CREATED CHARACTER for the trophy to pop up. I maxed out the sword category on Leonard first and no trophy. Once I maxed the sword category on my created character the trophy popped up.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Copper Horn Ornament

An ornament, in the shape of a monster's horn. Given to anyone who has defeated 100 monsters.
When you run around exploring the world, you are likely to encounter monsters. Defeat 100 monsters, and you will receive this trophy. You do not need to kill unique monsters for this to unlock, just slaughter everything you see. Your character and wallet will thank you.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Seal Of Pursuer

A seal given to you from a client. Only given to people who have successfully obtained an S rank in five quests.
Obtaining S Rank on Quests is pretty difficult. To obtain an S Rank you need to have a fast time, kill a whole bunch of monsters, and complete Subquests. Each Quest has a different objective and sub objective, and you are ranked on your score by the above requirements.
List of Missions and Subquests within coming soon.
1.) Brave Littons Plight
location: Balastor Plain
Total Points: 2980
Gave me an S rank
My Character: was level 23
I did this Solo
Completion bonus: 1,000
Time bonus : 200 (finished in 30 minutess and 5 seconds)
Enemy bonus: 1380Troll 500p x 2
Giant Vespid 10p x 21
Kibble 5p x 12
Polkeden 5p x 14_______________________________________________________________________________
Gaman's Stone

A stone given to anyone who has successfully synthesized 50 items. Its a little bit soft, and almost looks as if it was made by a child.
This will take a lot of time and effort on your part. It will also destroy what you have in your wallet. Your best bet is to find a friend who has the game, and visit their town. A well built up GeoRama Town will have a vendor which will sell a whole slough of different items you can use to synthesize items (Binding in game). Create 50 unique items and you will obtain this trophy.
*Note For a list of items that you can purchase at towns, check out the GeoRama Town Thread.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Bronze Medal

A medal given to an adventurer who has successfully risen to GR4 (Guild Rank 4). Given to show the guild leader's encouragement.
GR or Guild Rank is determined by how many GR Points you have overall from completing Guide Quests. Guild Quests can be completed by yourself (Not Recommended) or online with 3 other people. Complete enough Quests to raise your GR Rank to 4. This will take quite some time.
*NoteTo quickly raise your GR Rank, replay the Some Like it Cold Quest. You will get about 6,000 GR per completion, and it can be finished within' 5 minutes with 3 other players.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Red Embroidered Pouch

A new purse given when you have amassed 100,000 Gilda. The inside is full of hopes.
Gilda (Guilders) is the form of currency in White Knight Chronicles. You will receive Guilders from defeating Monsters. You will also get Guilders from Quests but they will be split between your party, and they do not give you much.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Silver Embroidered Pouch

A new purse given when you have amassed 1,000,000 Gilda. The inside is full of hopes and dreams.
To obtain this trophy you will need to have a total of 1,000,000G in your purse at one time. This is quite the task since once you gain the ability to collect about 30,000G - 60,000G per hour you will want to spend it on new items and equipment. Your best bet is to get the Money Trophies out of the way first, then go on an equipment spending spree.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Silver Medal

A medal given to an adventurer who has successfully risen to GR8 (Guild Rank 8). Given to show the guild leader's admiration.
It takes 900,000 Guild Rank Points to obtain Guild Rank 8 and it is no easy task. By repeating the Guild Quest Best Served Cold you can obtain 5,500 to 6,000 Guild Rank Points each time you complete the quest, and will take you as little as 7 minutes to complete with 3 other players. Repeat this quest until you reach Guild Rank 8.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Amanda's Ruby

A precious stone given to anyone who has successfully synthesized 200 items. A firm Ruby apparently made by Madame Amanda.
Synthesizing items requires a lot of time and money as stated earlier. Once you synthesize an item there will be a check mark saying that you synthesized that item. You obtain more items to synthesize as your member rank goes up by donating items to the Binding Merchant. Once you synthesize 200 unique items, this trophy is yours.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Seal Of Elucidation

A seal given to you from a client. Only given to people who have successfully obtained an S rank in twenty quests.
S-Ranking Quests can be quite difficult, especially since you cannot get this trophy until you have reached Guild Rank 7 and seen your first quest marked in II, such as Boot Camp II or Brave Litton's Plight II. Complete 20 quests with S Rank to get this trophy.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Silver Horn Ornament

An ornament, in the shape of a monster's horn. Given to anyone who has defeated 3000 monsters.
Defeating 3000 monsters will come to you quite easily. Slay away and you will obtain this trophy. Boot Camp II and Brave Litton's Plight II will be a good spot to farm monster kills decently quickly.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Weapon Maniac

A silver ornament, in the shape of a sword. Given to anyone that has collected 200 pieces of equipment.
Collecting 200 pieces of equipment is going to be a pain in the butt. You need to have 200 pieces of unique equipment. Unfortunately you can only have 25 pages of gear stored in your gear storage. On a positive note, this is retroactive and you do not need to have them all at once.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Item Maniac

A silver ornament, in the shape of a bag. Given to anyone that has collected 300 items
You will eventually collect 300 items by defeating monsters and gaining items from them. Just slay away and keep items you want, this trophy is retroactive and once you collect an item it counts towards the count. You need unique items though so don't go buying 300 Ghost Walnuts.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Item Collector

A gold ornament, in the shape of a bag. Given to anyone that has collected 600 items.
Collecting 600 unique items will take a long time. To do this you must find all the GR 1 - 12 crafting items, along with all of the items that drop off every creature in the game. Once you have gotten everything, the trophy will be yours and you will have a decent amount of things to use for your synthesis trophies.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Weapon Collector

A gold ornament, in the shape of a sword. Given to anyone that has collected 500 pieces of equipment.
To collect all 500 pieces of equipment, you will need to get the gold synthesis trophy. Seeing as about 400 pieces of equipment come from synthesis alone, you can do the math and know that this is where most of your money will be going for the trophies.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Gold Star

A medal given to anyone who has successfully mastered eight weapon's skill sets. A golden glow is projected from all of your skills.
While leveling up, you will get skill points as mentioned before. The current level cap for the game is 50, and with all the skill points that you get at 50, you can master two skill sets. Once you hit 50 you have the ability to rebirth, and gain 40 extra skill points at the cost of going back to level 35. You can repeat this process 4 times, giving you a grand total of 160 extra skill points to your character as you level to 50. This will allow you to have 4 skills mastered.
This trophy is retroactive and once you master a skill set, the star will remain there and you can move to something else.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Golden Horn Ornament

An ornament, in the shape of a monster's horn. Given to anyone who has defeated 10,000 monsters.
You will get this eventually while you farm monsters for items, money and experience. Head to Brave Litton's Plight II when you can one shot all the stuff in that quest and you will have this trophy in no time.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Seal Of Conquest

A seal given to you from a client. Only given to people who have successfully obtained an S rank in fifty quests.
S Ranking 50 quest will seem damn near impossible. It is definitely also impossible to do this currently. If you do every quest in the game before you start the NG+ (II's) quests, you will only have 17 quests completed. You will have to wait for the DLC quests (which are free) to be released on the PSN. These NG+ quests are also not easy, and S-Rank is very picky about how well you perform with your party. Best to do this with friends with good gear.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Gamarone's Diamond

A hidden treasure given to anyone who has successfully synthesized 450 items. Gamarone apparently had this diamond made in secret. It is a little bit sticky.
There are a total of 450 items to synthesize in the game. This will require a lot of time and money on your behalf. But you'll get some really bad ass armor and weapons out of the entire deal. Once you have reached Rank 12 with the binding (synth) merchant, you will have access to bind any item in the game. Once all the check-marks are checked off, you will get the trophy.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Gold Medal

A medal given to an adventurer who has successfully risen to GR12 (Guild Rank 12). Given to show the guild leader's deep affection.
GR12 is no easy feat. It is also very time consuming. Repeat Best Served II until your hearts desire shrivels up like someones manhood in the arctic tundra. You will get about 9,000 GR points per completion of the quest, and about 2,000G in pocket change if you sell the items you get for the completion.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Golden Embroidered Pouch

A new purse given when you have amassed 10,000,000 Gilda. The inside is full of loads of happiness.
This will take you forever. If you run Brave Litton's Plight II running around one-shotting things every hour. You will receive about 40,000G per hour as you mercilessly slaughter the wildlife. You will need to repeat this quest about 250 times if you want to get this trophy. On the positive note, getting the item creation trophies, and item collection trophies will be much easier.

Well Kurisu, your input is welcome but you're observations are a little wrong. The level cap in this game is only level 50, and you cannot and will not be able to solo any of the GR 9+ Quests by yourself. You will take about 300 damage per hit in the best armor from the Ancient Dragon, and you take about 150-300 from normal dragons. It's a big pain in the butt, and you need friends or people who have good gear and skill mastery to go through them 100%.
Getting all the passive stat's on your character you shouldn't really accomplish until you have re-birthed for your last (4th) time. This gives you enough skill points to Master 4 separate skills. If you want tank, go Sword/Spear and Shield. If you want to do some crazy damage, then Arcane Magic and Two Handed Swords/Axes are for you. Everyone and their mother should always max out Divine Magic 100% no matter what spec they are going for with 4 re-births. People should always have the ability to heal and resurrect people in case of a blunder.

I'm confused, do you have to have a Georama Town to be able to synthesize shit?

No you do not. Once you get past Albana in the game, you can Synthesize stuff at any binding post in any city. GeoRama towns on the other hand make it easier if you don't want to spend hours of farming for specific items needed for synthesis. You'd best have yourself a great sum of money though if you are going to do this, for some really rare items cost way over 100,000G.

So synthesizing is binding stuff together? I was confused.
-
02-28-2010 11:42 AM #7
Synthesizing is binding two objects together. Whether it be weapons with other weapons, weapons with objects, or objects with objects. Objects being ores, herbs, ect. But to answer your question, you get the ability to "bind" (synthesize) within the first twenty or so hours of gameplay when you reach Albana.
The best thing I could possibily suggest for you, is to not SPEND ANY GUILDER on anything but weapons and their enhancements, along with armor. This way, you can save your money instead of blowing it on items that are way too over-priced. You will come to realize that in this game, farming is seriously the best option for everything. Farming and grinding. When you get to higher rankings, find people that you can grind certain quests with. Personally, I've done the "Research Assistant II" probably twenty times by now just to get the item I wanted. This way, I'm getting guild point, experience, and money instead of just spending money and being constantly broke. You will understand in time.
But, to Dork- Great Review.

So I am a little confused. Once you beat the game, can you replay through it on a second playthrough keeping everything you have, money, gear, etc. The guide shows you need to master all 8 skill sets to get the trophy, but it says doing rebirth you can only master four... So you would have to replay the game to get the other four then? I must have missed something... Any insight would be appreciated.

Nice, this is my question as well. Once we beat the game, like the final boss and stuff, we have to start over holding the equipment and other stuff? Level and skills included?
For mastering 8 skill sets, we have to play the game twice, choosing different skill sets? What about online gaming? Once we master the first 4 skill sets (being reborn 4 times), we just forget about this character and start another one from zero?

For Mastering 8 Skill Set's I said quite clear what you had to do. Once you beat the game you get the ability to rebirth. Once you rebirth you drop back down to level 35 and gain 40 additional skill points (up to a maximum of 160 with 4 rebirths). You do not lose your character, you do not lose your equipment. The same goes for going into New Game +. The only difference with New Game + is that none of the main characters stats will ever be changed. Only your avatar will be affected by rebirth.

You will probably need to do most of the later quests online with friends as they will be very difficult to get an S rank on Solo. The 3 trophies being talked about there are the 3 trophies for getting an S rank on on a certain amount of quests.
1. Get an S rank on 5 quests
2. Get an S rank on 20 quests
3 Get an S rank on all 50 quests
The first can be obtained by yourself but you will probably need to use GeoNet and play with friends to obtain the last two.

Hi mate great guide i just have a couple of noob questions. The item and weapon trophies have to be retroactive dont they? alot of people on the game dont believe me when i say they are. Also for the kill trophies does your custom char have to do this or do kills in the single player with a group not including the custom char count. Many thanks and keep up the good work.

You can rebirth and change your skills an unlimited number of times, you have to reach level 50 again each time, but you will only get the skill points (40 per rebirth) for a maximum of 4 rebirths. There is no other reason you may want to, other than to change which weapon skills you use in combat, or what magic you may know.

They are not retroactive. If you were to start another save game, and start collecting items again like on some games, this would not allow you to get the trophies. You need to be working on your save game, or your New Game + game. For unique items I mean this:
Items:
Soldier Exoskeleton x84
Honeycomb x 40
Those will count as two items towards the item count needed for the item trophies.
Weapons:
Estoc
Trusty Estoc
Estoc +1
Iron Tiger
Those will count for 3 weapons. Weapons however are retroactive in their respect. You can only carry 200 items in your equipment storage, and it's impossible to carry every unique item in the game then for the trophy. But you still need unique items, if you had 4 Estoc's in your inventory, it would count as one piece of equipment still.
You will need to synthesize all 450 items if you want to get the Equipment trophies.
