by KILLER_1135   44  18  2  1  0If your are looking for the DLC guide, Sam-itfc4eva has made a very helpful Call of Duty: World At War DLC trophy guide for both of the Map Packs. Get your hands dirtyComplete 'Semper Fi' on Veteran difficulty. The only problem you should have is at two points: the part where it looks to be a bunch of jap. soldiers dead and then a huge flash comes on. I suggest turning around and hiding behind a rock, there will be some nades thrown at you so just toss em back. the second hard part is at the end where you cut a whole in the barrel on the truck. At that point there will be a bunch of jap. soldiers come out, just try to stay back and flank em then go to plant the charges and mission complete. -Bloody PeleliuComplete 'Little Resistance' on Veteran difficulty. The hard part of the level is at the beginning were you need to call in airstrikes on the bunker. There are a bunch of enemies here so i suggest staying behind the wooden things and take out that bunker then take out the enemies one by one. There is also a type 99 in the beginning so get that. another part is the part where the enemies come over the wall just stay back and they will come to you. one more part is in the trench like things just throw some nades and you should be fine. -The Sword Is BrokenComplete 'Hard Landing' on Veteran difficulty. Okay, there are two ambushes at the beginning which can get frustrating. Also twords the end when you have to take out those people on the um turret things, get ready for a fight. after you get those cleared get ready for an even bigger fire fight. This time they have three tanks so what you should do is stay behind cover and pick off enemies one at a time. Then get on those turrets to take out the tanks. -ArchitectComplete 'Vendetta' on Veteran difficulty. Okay, start by following Reznov and take out Amsel's men. This is where it will get frustrating. There will be a sniper who is like the best one ive ever seen and VERY hard to kill. So just take your time and he is usually on the 3rd or 4th floor. After that there is a pistol on a table twords the back of that room so you will need that to get a trophy later on in the level. Another hard part is when you have to cover your allies and there are snipers and gunners be aware, take cover, and wait to pick some off they will start to retreat when you get to a certain point. -The Hammer StrikesComplete 'Their Land, Their Blood' on Veteran difficulty. Feel free to not kill them, if that somehow clears you mind of all the killings you will commit after. You don't have to do anything in the fields, just move up, and feel free to grab anything by swapping your pistol; the Gewehr being one such gun. At the river kill enemies on both sides, then get across and feel free to go left or right, but I'll go left. Some frags should clear the barrier part, then go pop heads at the other end. Move up and in the crispy area, toss frags and molotovs to the trenches. You can go right and up the sides to hit a bunker with a Deployable FG42 which is a wicked cool gun, then clear out the field. To the right is a room with two guys if you want to go there. Just go under the bridge and blast the enemies as you head up to the left for a Panzerschrek. Get to the corner of the building, or inside and atop it, and from here I was able to get the first three tanks. Keep in mind there are tons of rockets for this thing all over and guys as you advance. What I did from here was follow the left side of this area up to a corner, then into the middle building, cleared it out on my way to the top, and from a window I took out the fourth tank before it rolled away. At this same room with the window as FG42 ammo. Then go meet your team by the barn. Take cover to the right at the corner of the trench as the doors will be blasted open and a Panzer will emerge, so just pop two quick shots into it as your friends handle the infantry. -Scorched EarthComplete 'Burn 'em Out' on Veteran difficulty. This level isn't too hard but all i can say is stay behind cover but you do have a flamethrower so... -FearlessComplete 'Relentless' on Veteran difficulty. Press the button to exit the tank when told. Run up and take cover behind the burned tank on the right and feel free to swap for that Tommy gun. Just make a path and run to the left side of the creek and use either gun as you advance up this path. You'll come out at the site of a fight, and the best advice I could give is to toss some smoke and run to the left as you take out bad guys, there's a garand in this bunker. Clear this area, then move up to the second fight where you have quite a mess to sort out. You can stay left, the easiest path, and use smoke to move up. If you do your friends should clean out the swamp and the buildings on the right side. Take the path to the north up the hill and you'll hit the third battle zone. Here just stay down and clear the guys to the left. When the flame tank appears you should go left and then follow it up the hill, but not directly behind it. You could possibly stay behind cover and let it run its course, or move along cover close behind it. There will be enemies popping up all over, even in spots the tank clears. You mainly want to keep your eye to the left cave entrance at the top, that will have the most enemies. -Hell on WheelsComplete 'Blood and Iron' on Veteran difficulty. The only thing about this level is your in a tank the WHOLE time so that means things are gonna get weird. There are parts where you have to destroy enemy tanks so the best thing to do is fire at them and try to get out of the way and reload so you wont get hit there is also a trophy where you have to destroy all towers and bunkers so refer to the video below. -No ReturnComplete 'Ring of Steel' on Veteran difficulty. The hardest part in this level is the asylum there are enemies everywhere so just stick to the usual and stay behind cover and you will get the chance to kill the enemies. (use nades once again) -When It Rains, It PoursComplete 'Eviction' on Veteran difficulty. The hard part is where your in the tunnel thing and there are a bunch of nazis behind the barrier just stay low and use your nades to buy your ally some time to get that thing open and then watch the shocking cineamatic -One Bad GatoComplete 'Blackcats' on Veteran difficulty. Switch to the other guns when you are told* Switch to the front cannon and fire upon the ships, taking a few shots at the smaller boats; use the sights. Then switch to the back turret when told and pick off the smaller boats. After the plane turns you will soon switch to a side gun where you shoot more boats. At any time when you go over a big ship, aim for the tanks of fuel on them to take them out, or at least kill gunners on board. But just keep firing into the ships for damage. When you take the bow gun and make your final pass, just keep firing at the ships until you see "objectives updated" meaning you've taken it out, or see it capsize. Get all three and that will be it for this part. After you're heading back to base, switch to the view that sees the radio guy, then you'll have to defend against planes, so just follow the directions (10 o'clock means left, 12 means up, and 2 means right). Just hit as many as you can. Then you'll switch to the bow gun for a final shooting of some planes. Hit as many as you can, probably without using the sights, and after you run out of ammo the level is over. -Blowtorch and CorkscrewComplete 'Blowtorch and Corkscrew' on Veteran difficulty. Erm, not really a hard level just when you have to take out the bunkers there are alot of enemies around them so just shoot like hell then plant satchels and move on. -The Sun SetsComplete 'Breaking Point' on Veteran difficulty. The last level for the americans. Tough!! Okay, the hard part is the very end where you choose who lives, choose Roebuck. Now comes the final stand, which is a mess. There are mortar shells to the right, but those are tricks into getting you to expose yourself; don't go for them. Just sit back, have your melee attack ready for banzais, and hit a few enemies when you see them. You goal is to just set airstrikes on the building across the yard, to the northeast. Then you'll endure banzai waves from the east as you set an airstrike on that final building. Survive, call strikes until it's over, and that's all from Japan. -For the MotherlandComplete 'Heart of the Reich' on Veteran difficulty. WOW! The hardest level in my opinion. So the hard part is when you are about to enter the building, enemies just keep pouring out and there are snipers on the roof. There is a sniper in a broken down house towards the right and use the sniper then proceed in and it wont be too hard from there -Bearing the BurdenComplete 'Downfall' on Veteran difficulty. Not as hard as the last level. Head down the hall, killing the few enemies along the way, and at the next room, turn right for the stairs and on the wall is a PTRS, so grab it and go up. Take point on the right side, and at the very end is more ammo. Take out the turret gunner on the stage, then any rocket guys along the front line and the back, then there will be flamers in the stands. Then pick off the Nazis along the opposite walkway. Pick off enemies in the stands until the third wave appears, and some will get on the turret too. you will eventually make your way to the last battle. Kill the enemies then pick up the flag and plant it to end the game. -Saved Private RyanSave the soldier before he burns to death. This will be done on the first level. It is when the japanese guy who is burning comes out of the building and attacks the soldier. You can shoot the guy. Then you'll be awarded with this trophy. -Weapon of Mass DestructionRadio in a naval bombardment that kills at least 4 Japanese soldiers. This will be done on the second level. All you have to do is put the target in the right place and call it in. -Lights Out!In 'Black Cats', blast out all of the spot lights in the Japanese cargo convoy. This one isn't that hard to do. Just aim for the spotlights on the ships. You'll get plenty of chances. -Rough EconomyKill 3 enemies with a single round. -Guardian AngelIn the final battle for Okinawa, save Sergeant Roebuck. -Close ShaveSurvive a banzai attack. Not hard. Just let a soldier pin you on the ground, then melee him. -Snake in the GrassTake out a Japanese soldier lying in wait in the grass. Not hard. -No safe placeBurn an enemy out of a tree with the flamethrower in 'Hard Landing'. All you need to do is have the flamethrower and burn one of the soldiers in the trees. -Purple HeartWhen staring into the face of adversity, show courage and persevere. Easy if you are playing on vet, just die in the same spot 10-15 times you should get it then. -Ruthless[/FONT]Kill 15 enemies while mounted on a tank in 'Ring of Steel'. Just aim at the enemies and try to kill them all, you should get this on your first or second try. -Mortar-domKill 8 Japanese with thrown mortars in 'Breaking Point. You could get this on your first try. -Shot in the DarkKill 10 enemies while the lights are out in the subway in 'Eviction'. -Blue RibbonComplete a 4-player Competitive Co-Op match in 1st place. Easy, just get 3 friends to help you. You will get it at some point.(If you don't have friends on PSN ask people on the forum we will help) -Get Your Left Foot WetComplete a match in Campaign Co-Op mode. Complete a campaign co-op mode, just get 3 friends to help you. You will get it at some point.(If you don't have friends on PSN ask people on the forum we will help) -Get Your Right Foot WetComplete a match in Competitive Co-Op mode. Complete a competitive mode, you don't have to come in first. -Carlson's RaidersComplete 'Semper Fi' on any difficulty. You can do this on recruit. Its basically a free silver trophy. Enjoy! -Stormed PeleliuEstablish a beachhead at Peleliu Island on any difficulty. I think you get this when you complete "Little Resistance" -The Last StandSurvive the conflict in Okinawa on any difficulty. You get this when you complete all the levels on the American side. -Stabbed in the HeartComplete all missions on the Eastern Front on any difficulty. You get this when you complete all the levels on the European side. -The ProfessionalShoot all of Amsel's henchmen, including their attack dog, without reloading. -GunslingerAssassinate General Amsel with a pistol shot. Pretty challenging. -Grave RobberCollect all Death Cards in the game. card #1  emper FiImmediately following getting your gun in the opening cinematic, veer right and head into the first open shack. It’s a damned good vantage point - and looky there - your first Death Card! Enjoy it, this is one of the only times it’ll be this easy. card #2:Little Resistance Once you’re facing the large Japanese bunker, tuck and run into the trench on your right. Exit the tunnel and dispose of your adversaries, practically unaware. In the very right corner of the large bunker, you can clearly see the Card standing in the brush. card #3:Hard Landing Dispose of as many enemies as possible before running into the building. Before you pass through the structure and on to the outside, look for a small lantern barely lighting the darkened room. You should be able to make out the silhouette of your brand new Death Card. card #4:Vendetta Right after following Reznov into the first building, wait for him to open up access to the bar. Before following him into the next room, look carefully behind the bar and you’ll find a Death Card in the far corner. card#5:Their Land, Their Blood After disposing of a tank, sit tight for the short cinema in a barn. Before exiting, head into the first stable on the right and you’ll find a Death Card staked next to a rotting cow corpse. card #6:Burn ‘Em Out After burn-inating the first mortar hold, head back and to the left towards the second. Take out the embedded machine gunners, and all the other baddies in the area while keeping an eye out for a darkened bunker on the left. If you’ve hit the second mortar stronghold, you’ve gone too far. card # 7:Relentless Head into the caves and once you dispose of your Japanese aggressors note that your pathways fork. Staying to the left is easier, but both paths lead to the same place. Either way, a small hallway bridges both pathways and contains a Death Card right in the middle. card #8:Ring of Steel Enter the asylum, and move to the left as safely as you can. You can almost make out the tip of the helmet over the wall. Move into the enclave and find your Death Card next to a slumped soldier. card #9:Eviction Move past the German infested kitchen and approach the firefight on the balcony. Slip to the right and drop through the hole in the floor. Against the wall in the exploderized bathroom below is where you’ll find your Death Card. card #10:Blowtorch & Corkscrew Emerge from the caves, grab the Satchel charges and get ready to take out some 200MM gun bunkers. After you blow up the first bunker, head to the left of the level. You’ll see a crude stone structure housing a hanging corpse and a Death Card. card #11:Breaking Point Having taken out the first two mortars, head up the stairs and take care of the third. Just beyond that, on the right side if you’re facing Shuri Castle, there’s a small shack with a Death Card nestled in it. card #12:Heart of the Reich An easy one. Right after the opening cinema, sprint to the symmetrical subway tunnel on your left. Lo, an unguarded Death Card! card #13:downfall Take the staircase up into the theater hallways, you’ll take a right then a left. But instead of making the next left, look to the right for a darkened room. Here be the last Death Card. -Throw a Six and a HalfOn Hardened or Veteran difficulty, complete a level without dying. I would suggest doing this on Semper Fi. Have patience. You shall get it eventually. -FirestarterComplete a level using only the flamethrower. Melee, grenades & explosives are OK. You will get this one on "Burn em out" -KamikazeComplete a level on Regular difficulty or higher using only melee or grenades. Once again, do this on Semper Fi. Stay back, throw nades, then finish off enemies with your knife. -Iron FistDestroy all towers and bunkers in 'Blood and Iron'. -Sum of All ZeroesDown 45 Japanese Zeros in 'Black Cats'. This one is hard so here.(doesn't matter what difficulty) -Hardened War HeroComplete the game on Hardened or Veteran difficulty. I suggest doing it on Hardened its a bit easier then vet.  -War HeroComplete the game on any difficulty. You could do this on recruit and be awarded a shiny gold trophy. -PLATINUMAwarded when all other trophies have been unlocked. Well there you go. You Go Get That Platinum Now!!!! Want to explain some stuff a bit other than the generic "Take your time"?
Some people here would like to know how to get that pistol to shoot Amsel. Some want advice on how to beat several levels on Veteran, take out the Japanese Zeros your way, methods, methods, and more. We'd like to know how you got it. Some people don't know what that water tower you have to take down too, you know. So people will be wondering among all the smoke.  MADE IN AMMOS |

I'm kinda choked.. my buddy who plays this game with a passion lent it to me and i FINALY beat it on veteran, but he wants it back badly and i didnt get the chance to get the other trophies. im only at 60%.

my advice is to set the controller sensitivity to 7. it allows you to move the gun a lot faster. also set the brightness up a little bit if you're having trouble seeing. save right before the first wave and do not pass it until you have 19-20+ keep playing this part over and over and over and over. you'll eventually get their pattern down. then make sure you save it right after you get the next checkpoint. then keep playing it to see if you can get to 45, if not hit the PS button to quit the game and try again. this is how i did it. after getting 20 in the first wave it didn't take many tries after that. |

Need some help.
I have completed all the trophies where you must complete a level on veteran; I have not get the Hardened Hero trophy. How can this be, is there something else I need to do. Has any one else had this problem. |

Nice guide but don't get the "Stormed Peleliu" trophy, i didn't get it but i finished little resistance ? Any body got a clue what's going on ? :s
