Blurays Compared to DVD
Any Blurays You have seen please post them with a rating so we can keep track of what ones we think are worth buying on Bluray or should just get DVD. Keep things in mind such as picture quality; sound; features & of course the movie itself but the main focus is the quality of the Bluray compared to DVD.
Only people who watched the Bluray on a HD Tv in 1080P post your ratings as a SD Tv you cant rate properly!
Please only Post your ratings on a Bluray as mine below - Do not post anything else to Keep this thread easy to go through
Rate By letter
A = Must buy on Bluray
B = Bluray or DVD
C= Not worth Bluray DVD will do
D= Neither - rent or Download if you want to see it
You can add extra comment as well if it has a great feature such as Bluray Live

just watched Gamer last night and even though the movie isn't great, the blu ray experience is awesome on that disc. I would give the movie a B-, but the disc an A+ for features and extra stuff.

You're insane dude, if it wasnt better it wouldnt be so popular now would it? Adoption rates are through the roof. You cant even experience Blu-ray and all its greatness if you only own 3 titles.
Go buy a 5 star title and use a 1080p display and have a receiver capable of decoding HD codecs so you can get true HD audio via DTS HD Master or TrueHD ... lossless!
Most games are not even 1080p and only pack a dolby digital track so to say "only in games" is irrelevant and reeks of idiocracy.
I'm not here to bash you though, if you would like some recommendations of 5 star blu-ray titles and have a 1080p HDTV then I'd be more than willing to recommend.
The Dark Knight is a great one for instance. Live free or Die Hard is acclaimed in the PQ department.
